Helping others, like dad did.

Andi Gamboni lost her father John Couch to heart disease just three months before the Heart Foundation Heart Walkers event in Wellington last year.

"I wanted to do the Heart Walk because Dad had always helped others by giving to and volunteering for charities. In honour of him, I wanted to be able to give something back too." . Driven by her father's zest for life, she walked with her 16-year old daughter and rallied her family, friends and acquaintances to donate to the Heart Foundation, so it can continue its work in heart research, education and cardiac care.
